dr Peiru Loo

Dr Peiru grew up in Malaysia before moving to the UK in her late teens to pursue her dental degree at the University of Leeds. She qualified with a Master and Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a Bachelor of Science (MChD / BChD & BSc).

Dr Peiru has worked in various healthcare settings with the NHS in the UK including general practice, community centre, dental hospital, general hospital, as well as the children’s hospital.

During this time, she has gained invaluable experience in different fields of dentistry including oral & maxillofacial surgery, oral medicine, special care and paediatric dentistry. Dr Peiru has also been awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Her experiences and skills gained along the way have shaped her into a well-rounded dentist. She has a particular interest in paediatric dentistry and has a passion in managing anxious children. She always tries her best to give young children a positive dental experience.

After over 10 years of residing in the UK, Dr Peiru has decided to move over to Perth to be closer to her family (and also to get more sunshine!). Outside dentistry, Dr Peiru enjoys travelling, and is always on the hunt for good food!
